Knowledge search node
Knowledge search node allows the AI-agent to retrieve answers from a website or documents uploaded in the Knowledge Base (KB) module and provide accurate and relevant responses to user queries.
Using the Knowledge search node offers the following benefits:
- Access to up-to-date information: The AI-agent can retrieve data from the linked websites or uploaded documnets, to ensure that the information provided is correct and relevant.
- Efficient query handling: The AI-agent can handle contextual queries or specific user queries by searching through knowledge sources to resolve them.
Access Knowledge search node
To access Knowledge search node, follow these steps:
Build a flow for your use case and extend it to the point where you want to include the Knowledge Search node.
Navigate to Actions nodes and select Knowledge Search.

Knowledge search settings
The Knowledge search node additional configurations that allow users to tailor its behavior to specific use cases. Below are some key configurations and their purposes:
Input configuration
This setting allows you to adjust input criteria to override the default Knowledge base setting. The AI-agent will use these input settings to process and return search results. It includes options such as:

- Enable summarised results: Enable this option for the AI-agent to search and simplify the answer in a conversational manner.
- Site URL: This field displays the default URL from the Knowledge Base (KB) section. You can modify this URL based on your needs, and the AI-agent will generate search results using the provided URL.
- Search confidence: This setting defines the confidence score (ranging from 0 to 1) that indicates how accurate the predicted search is.
The default value is 0.5. It is recommended to keep this value between0.4
and0.7
to maintain balanced and accurate search results.
Knowledge filter
The Knowledge filter allows you to refine search results based on tags created for uploaded documents.

To add a Knowledge filter:
- Upload the searchable documents to KB along with the relevant tags.
- Under Tag field, choose the tag you created.
- In Value field, enter the value that should return the document associated with the specific tag. Values are fetched from a AI-agent variable.
- Click + Add filter to add the more tags if needed.
AI-agent response configuration
This setting controls how the AI-agent's response is managed. By default, it is set to "Print response." You can also choose to "Save response in variable.
i. Print response: This option displays the response directly in text format.
ii. saveResponseInVariable: This option stores the AI-agent's response in a specified variable. You need to select the appropriate variable for storing the response.
